どちらのサンドイッチは一番おいしい? (2)

THE EGGY MONSTROSITY!

Eggy and eggy lettuce are the two phrases I would use to describe my next venture down sandwich alley. This is why:

EGGGGGGGSTRAVAGANZA

After prising them apart we can finally move on to the review of the first part of the eggy triplicate, here goes!

1. The middle layer.

Egg-axtly like an english sandwich

This sandwich was plain boring. There was little real egg and it had been squished between it's two big brother sandwiches in the packet for god knows how long. This made the sandwich somehow study yet floppy. its thin bready outside did nothing to make up for the lack of actually real contents and the attempt at being health conscious (the singular leaf of lettuce) fell ridiculously short. In fact the piffling sheet of lettuce, yes it's there, you can just see it right in the middle, just made the outside bread entirely come off when I bit into it, and the contents proceeded to fall out. This sandwich had then also managed to annoy me, well done sandwich. well done. I hope you're happy because it's earned you a neat 2/10!

2. The outer layers:

EGG-cellent!

Just like the earth, the exterior 2 sandwiches of this triple was much more interesting and amenable to life. Unlike the earth however the interior was was not made of lava (though it may have earned 3 / 10 if it was). This sandwich was overall a better version of the previous. It's contents consisted of not only egg mayo, but also real life slices of eggy goodness, YUM. I do have a few complaints though;

- They could have done with packing it in a bigger box as the bread had become all flat and flappy like a peanut butter packed lunch you accidentally sat on then left in the car.

- They tried to be sneaky and put all the egg at the front, but we English know the ways of the false fronted sandwich and it did not fool me. But I expected more.

Overall however despite its flaws, this bready delight was indeed as it's name suggests, a joy to consume. Earning it a 6/10. :)

Why does the Sam keep eating so many eggs? Sam is not french so one egg is never 'an oeuf'. *chortle*
